Growing Common Ground
Our Journey
Building something lasting begins with a shared purpose. Our five-year vision begins with food, service, and community connection, then expands to include education, meaningful work, greater stability, and new opportunities thrive.
Each year builds on the last, strengthening our roots, expanding our reach, and creating a foundation for lasting change.

How We Create Lasting Change
FROM PURPOSE TO IMPACT
Our seven pillars guide our work, our five signature initiatives put them into action, and together they create meaningful impact that strengthens individuals and communities.

A Place to Grow Together
A Home For Our Mission
Our vision is to establish the Common Ground Farm & Learning Center—a welcoming place where people can grow food, learn practical skills, gain meaningful work experience, serve their neighbors, and build lasting connections.
We envision a working farm and community learning center with gardens, greenhouses, classrooms, teaching kitchens, spaces for youth programs, vocational training, and community gatherings. We hope to begin developing the center as soon as land, funding, and partnerships make it possible, expanding its facilities and programs as opportunities arise.
Our mission begins with people. The Farm & Learning Center will be a place where that mission can grow and serve generations to come.
THE FUTURE IS SOMETHING WE GROW TOGETHER
Our journey will be shaped by the needs of our communities, the strengths of our partners, and the people who choose to be part of it. Each step brings us closer to a future where more people have the resources, relationships, skills, and opportunities to flourish.
